Eleventh Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission Circuit Court Judge Vacancy

As a member of The Eleventh Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission, Melanie Damian has been asked to provide Governor Rick Scott with nominees for the vacancy in the Miami-Dade Circuit Court resulting from the retirement of Judge Stanford Blake.
The Commission requests that interested candidates submit an application for consideration. Applicants must meet the qualifications for circuit court judges described in Article V, Section 8 of the Florida Constitution. Applicants must deliver a complete application and ten copies by Monday, September 26, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. Any application delivered after the deadline will not be considered. You may redact your social security number from the ten copies, leaving the complete number in the original.
