Chief Judge Soto has issued an administrative order closing courthouse facilities for Miami-Dade County to the public except for access required for emergency or mission-critical court matters. The federal courts have also imposed limited access and imposed special procedures. The Miami-Dade County closure will be in effect from Tuesday, March 17, through Friday, March 27.

The two-week closure may be extended based on guidance from health and government authorities. We will monitor the courts’ status and keep you up to date on any changes.

Our Firm has implemented our existing contingency plans, and we are taking appropriate precautions. We can continue to prepare and file court papers electronically, attend depositions and hearings telephonically, confer with clients via electronic means, evaluate problems, and offer solutions quickly.

In this time of crisis, businesses will face challenges with employees, contractual obligations, supply chain, production and completion schedules, insurance claims, as well as many other economic and legal challenges.

We are here to offer assistance to guide you through these uncertain times.
