Co-Founder, Managing Partner

Peter F. Valori, Co-Founder of Damian & Valori, LLP and Managing Partner of Damian |Valori |Culmo, heads the firm’s complex business litigation practice. He focuses his practice on complex corporate, contract, real estate, employment, professional negligence, and trademark litigation.  He has significant experience with breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and professional liability cases.

Mr. Valori graduated from Pennsylvania State University (B.S., 1991) and the University of Miami School of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, 1994) where he was a member of the University of Miami Law Review. He is a member of the Florida bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida; the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit.

Mr. Valori has been widely recognized for his legal work. Highly regarded by his peers, he received an AV Preeminent® Rating from Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™. He also was selected for inclusion to The Best Lawyers in America® 2021, has been named as a Super Lawyer from 2006 – 2020; a Legal Elite lawyer by Florida Trend Magazine in 2006 to 2011 and 2017.

Mr. Valori has been actively involved in legal trade and local organizations. He has served as Past President of the Miami Beach Bar Association and was the Past Chair of the Federal Courts Committee of the Dade County Bar.  At the state level, he served as Past Chair of The Florida Bar Membership Committee, the Past Chair of The Florida Bar Communications Committee and the Past Chair of the Business Litigation Committee for The Florida Bar Business Law Section. He also served a Liaison from The Florida Bar Business Law Section Business Litigation Committee to Florida Bar Business Law Section E-Discovery Rules Committee.

Nationally, Mr. Valori has served as Past Co-Chair of the Business Torts Subcommittee and Former Chair of the Newsletter Subcommittee for The American Bar Association Business Law Section’s Business and Corporate Litigation Committee.

In addition to his legal service, Mr. Valori has served as member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee of Educate Tomorrow, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting youth-in-need obtain higher education. He also represents abused and neglected children in dependency proceedings through Lawyers for Children America, Inc.

Mr. Valori is a frequent speaker and author on the topics of business torts and financial fraud litigation, non-compete agreements, injunctions, civil procedure, and electronic discovery.
